About Us

The Palms Hand Therapy was established in 2017 by Marin Suzuki following a move to the Gold Coast from Sydney. 

Marin has worked at South Western Sydney Hand Unit at Fairfield, The Sydney Hospital Hand Unit and also in private practice prior to establishing The Palms. 

The philosophy of The Palms Hand Therapy is inspired by the excellence that Marin witnessed at the Hand Units in Sydney where there is integrated treatments between surgeons and therapists and a strong focus on research, teaching and evidence based practice. As such, The Palms Hand Therapy is co-located inside Mudgeeraba Hand Clinic, which includes Dr David Graham (Marin's husband) who is a Hand, Wrist and Microsurgeon, who has also worked at the Sydney Hospital Hand Unit, South Western Sydney Hand Unit and the Royal North Shore Hospital Department of Hand Wrist and Peripheral Nerve Surgery.
